Russia’s Rosneft, Poland’s PKN Orlen extend deal, boost volumes
MOSCOW, Dec 31 (PRIME) – Russian oil major Rosneft and Poland’s biggest refiner PKN Orlen have extended their oil supply deal for three years from February 1, 2016 and increased the volume to 25.2 million tonnes, Rosneft said in a statement.
Higher volumes meet Rosneft’s strategy of creating shareholder value through more efficient oil sales, the statement said.
“Rosneft is boosting its presence on its traditional markets, preserving it for Russian companies … The agreement confirms Rosneft’s status as a leading oil provider for Europe’s largest consumers,” it said.
